Say hello to Jane I. Dysart, co-founder of Dysart & Jones Associates, Canada, as a new member of Smart People magazine’s editorial board. For Smart People magazine Jane will act as Library and Information Science expert. Through this function Jane will complement the current editorial board very well:

Yes, Jane. Welcome to the Smart People Editorial Board.
I must admit I’ve been entirely too silent about the exceptional people who have begun populating this all-important advisory board and I’m going to remedy that with the next issue.
It will probably be just a little blurb in the magazine because I don’t want to fill too much space with “in-house” chatter. But I’ll link the blurb to special posts here in my blog for people who really want to know more about the five who have been carefully added over the first five issues of the magazine.
Then I’ll link each of the EB photos to the respective posts so that people can know more by clicking in any html edition.
Meanwhile, we are all grateful for the interdisciplinary expertise our board volunteers bring to our table.
